MEET REBECCA

My love for design began as a child. I was drawn to all things art, collecting bins and envelopes of pretty curiosities that were more for admiring than using. Among these collections were fabric swatches and a rainbow of paint samples. Although I’ve always loved envisioning and creating, my passion for home décor didn’t fully materialize until I had a space to call my own. Broke but proud to be living independently, I furnished my first apartment with Craigslist treasures. More than a decade later, I still own some of those beloved, inexpensive finds, and I’ve layered in new pieces that reflect who I am today, alongside my family.

Disheartened by the idea that a beautiful space requires custom furniture or a celebrity designer — I created Unfurled Interiors. I’m invigorated by the challenge of deciding where to save and when to invest in goods and furnishings. I believe everyone should have access to spaces that feel good and radiate personality - while staying within a budget that feels right for them. 

True partnership + beautiful, energetic spaces emerge when rooms reflect the unique individuals who inhabit them. As for the name Unfurled Interiors, it’s a bit unexpected and even a touch poetic. Just as I marvel at a leaf as it blossoms to its fullest, I am fulfilled by the unfurling of well-styled spaces. It’s the process that gets me every time.

I’d describe my signature style as warm and modern, with layered textures, natural wood and stone, jewel tones, and plenty of flourishing greenery. I’m a sucker for all things vintage and love a good mashup of styles.
